Online Conference Terms & Conditions of Attendance

The following terms and conditions constitute an agreement between “Present to succeed” LLC, registered in the Bulgarian Commercial Register, with UIC: 206325351, having its seat and registered address at Sofia, Bulgaria, 1124, district Sredets, Ivan Asen II street, No 60, ap 12a, represented by Boris Hristov and Iva Nachkova, managers, (“Present to succeed”, “Present2succeed”, “us”, “we”, “our”), as the organizer, and the attendees (“Attendee”, “you” or “your”) of a conference hosted both live and online (the “Conference”) and govern the access to and participation in the Conference.
 

You enter into this agreement and will be bound by these terms when you purchase a ticket to attend the Conference. Read these terms carefully, as different terms might apply to you, depending on what type of ticket you have bought.

1. Definitions

Attendee – any person who has purchased a ticket (or had a ticket purchased for them) to attend the Conference online or live.

Online Conference – “Present to Succeed” conference hosted both live and online, which includes and is separated into Sessions.

Website – the official Online Conference website www.presenttosucceed.com

 

​2. Tickets

  1. In order to attend the Conference, Attendees need to purchase a ticket from any of the provided categories, details for which you can find on the Website.

  2. When buying a ticket, Attendees can decide between participating in the Conference either entirely online or live in Bulgaria.

  3. Each ticket must be assigned to an Attendee. Multiple simultaneous attempts access using a single ticket will not be allowed.

  4. All tickets shall be available for purchase on the Website and shall be paid for through payment platforms such as PayPal and Stripe.

  5. Once a successful ticket transaction has been completed, tickets are delivered in electronic soft copy via email to the email address nominated by the Attendee.

  6. We reserve the right to change the ticket prices at any time, but any changes will not affect tickets that have already been purchased.

  7. Present to succeed might organize various promotions regarding the acquisition of tickets for the Conference. In case of a promotion, Present to succeed will post the specific conditions of it on the Website and social media accounts of the Conference.

3. Registration

  1. If you have bought a ticket to attend the Conference, it is necessary for you to register through the Website.

  2. The registration form requires information such as the Attendee name and email to be completed. You may be granted the alternate possibility of registering and logging in using your LinkedIn account.

  3. If multiple tickets (10 or more) are purchased by an organization or a company, we will supply you with a unique code which can be used by each Attendee from the organization or company to register on the Website. The organization or company shall ensure the Attendees are made aware of and shall be bound by these Terms.

  4. If the registration is on behalf of another, it is your obligation to make sure that the person attending is aware of these Terms and accepts them. By completing and submitting the registration form you are representing and warranting that you have made the person attending aware of these Terms and that they have accepted these Terms.

  5. The registration has been successfully completed when you receive a confirmation email at the e-mail address you have provided during the registration process itself.

4. Attendee obligations

  1. By purchasing a ticket for the Conference, you agree not to share, sell, or trade your ticket. Reselling or otherwise transferring your ticket, not in accordance with the Terms, will void the ticket and the ticket holder will not gain access to the Conference. Where there has been any resale or attempted resale of any tickets (or any other breach of this term), we reserve the right to cancel the relevant tickets with immediate effect.

  2. You agree to behave in a respectful and appropriate way during the  Conference. You also acknowledge and agree that Present to succeed reserve the right to remove you from the Conference if we, in our sole discretion, determine that your participation or behavior creates a disruption or hinder the Conference or the enjoyment of the Conference content by other attendees. 

  3. When attending the Conference online, the platform for the conduction of the Conference provides a section for public chat which allows for online, live communication between all participants in the Conference (including the Sponsors) or in the Virtual Booth of a Sponsor. In the chat you are obliged to not:

    1. Insult or slander anyone participating in the Conference online or in the Virtual booth (including Sponsors or Speakers of the Conference).

    2. Send spam messages to the participants in the chat.

  4. Failure to fulfil this obligation will result in a warning that you will be removed from the online platform for the conduction of the Conference in case of a subsequent violation of the obligation. We reserve the right to remove you immediately, irrevocably and without warning from it if another violation follows, for which we will not be liable to you in any way.

5. Cancellation of attendance and refunds

  1. You have the right to cancel your purchase of a ticket within 30 days of the purchase and only prior to the dates of the Conference without giving any reason and to receive a reimbursement of payment by notifying us in writing of your decision within this time. The refund will be made in the same form as the original payment was received (for example, a credit card payment will refund to the same credit card account number).

  2. All purchases of Conference tickets are non-refundable in their entirety after the end of this 30-day period or if we receive your refund notification during the Conference dates or after the Conference has already been held.

 

6. Access to the Conference

  1. Access to the Conference online:

    1. A valid ticket and registration entitle you to access the Conference online as an Attendee.

    2. The Conference will be held on the Hopin online platform. Prior to the dates of the Conference you will receive a link through which you will be able to access the Conference on the email you have elected in the registration form on the Website.  

    3. The Conference and its content are for your personal and non-commercial use only and may not be shared with individuals beyond your household. For the duration of the Conference we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and view the  Conference online.

    4. To attend the Conference online, Internet access and compatible devices are required. It is your responsibility to ensure that our technology is compatible with your systems prior to registering. Present to succeed is not liable for any technical issues, which may arise as a result of your failure to ensure compatibility.

  2. Access to the Conference live:

    1. A valid ticket entitles you to access the Conference live.  In order to enter the venue where the Conference is being held, you have to show your soft-copy of the ticket.

    2. The live Conference will be held in Bulgaria. The exact address of the venue will be announced on the Website at least a month prior to the Conference.

7. Recordings

  1. Each Attendee shall have access for personal use only to recordings of the Conference for a period of time according to the category of the purchased Ticket.

  2. The recordings will be available for viewership on an online platform at least 3 weeks after the Conference has been held.

  3. You will receive an email with information regarding the specific online platform to be used for this purpose, together with the needed login credentials for the platform.

 

8. Changes or cancellation of the Conference

  1. We do our best to make sure that the Conference schedule, speakers, content, platform/venue, and dates are correct at the time of publishing. Circumstances beyond our control may necessitate substitutions, alterations, postponements, or cancellations to the schedule, content, speakers, platform/venue, or dates of the Conference. We reserve the right to do so at any time and will not be liable to you for any cost incurred by you as a result.

  2. We will endeavor to notify you as soon as reasonably practicable of any substitutions, postponements, or changes by posting the updated information on the Website and all the Conference social media accounts. Anyone who has agreed to receive notifications on the latest news by email shall also receive an email regarding the changes.

  3. If the Conference is postponed, we will provide you with access to the Conference at that later date. No refunds will be provided if the  Conference is postponed.

  4. In the unlikely event of cancellation of the Conference, we will not be liable to you for any expenditure, damage or loss incurred by you because of the cancellation.

9. Photography, audio, and video recording

  1. By participating in the Conference, you acknowledge and agree to grant Present to succeed the right at the Conference to record, film, live stream, photograph, or capture your likeness in any media now available or hereafter developed and to store recordings, distribute, broadcast, use, or otherwise globally to disseminate, in perpetuity, such media without any further approval from you or any payment to you. This grant includes, but is not limited to, the right to edit such media, the right to use the media alone or together with other information, and the right to allow others to use or disseminate the media. If you do not consent to being recorded, you can choose to not attend the Conference.

  2. In case you attend the Conference, you are not allowed to record or live stream audio or video of the sessions of the Conference.

 

10. Intellectual property rights
 

  1. All intellectual property rights in and to the Conference, the Conference content, recordings of the Conference and all materials distributed at or in connection with the Conference are owned by us and/or the Conference sponsors or speakers participating in the Conference. You agree not to reproduce, modify, record, distribute, license, perform, publish, create derivative works from or use (except as authorized and in accordance with these Terms) any Conference content, recordings or materials for any reason as these actions constitute an offense and can result in liability in accordance with the effective legislation.

11. Limitation of Liability

  1. You acknowledge and agree that views expressed by speakers at or in connection with the Conference are their own and we do not accept any responsibility or liability for any advice given or views expressed during or in connection with the Conference.

  2. Materials shared or distributed at or in connection with the Conference are intended for information purposes only and should not be relied upon by you or others. We do not accept any responsibility or liability for reliance by you or any person on any aspect of the Conference and/or any information provided at the Conference.

  3. Nothing in these Terms purports to exclude or limit liability for any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

  4. Subject to paragraph 11.3., we shall not be liable to you whether in contract, tort (including for negligence) or otherwise for any losses arising under or in connection with the performance or contemplated performance of the Terms.

  5. Subject to paragraph 11.3., our total aggregate liability in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, arising under or in connection with the performance or contemplated performance of the Terms is limited to the total amount paid by you to us for your ticket to participate and access the Conference, after the payment of any processing fees or bank charges applicable.

12. Indemnity

  1. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from all claims, liability, damages, costs and expenses, including legal fees that arise out of or are related to any breach of the Terms by you or any other liabilities incurred by us arising out of your attendance, participation or access to the Conference.

13. Force majeure

1. “Force Majeure” means circumstances which are beyond our reasonable control and which are reasonably likely to affect the successful delivery of the  Conference or would make it inadvisable, impracticable, illegal, or impossible for us to perform our obligations under these Terms. In case such circumstances occur, we are not liable if the Conference is, in whole or in part, cancelled, rescheduled or postponed, or for any failure or delay to perform our obligations under these Terms.

14. Personal data

1. Present to Succeed will collect and process your personal data in order to provide you with the services described in thеse Terms.

2. More about the personal data we process and your rights as a data subject you can read in our Privacy Statement.

15. Amendments

  1. We may make amendments to these Terms, if necessary. Any such amendments shall be posted on the Website. Amendments will be effective immediately on the amended Terms being posted on the Website and you will be deemed to have accepted them if you attend the Conference.

 

16. Governing Law and jurisdiction

  1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the  laws of the Republic of Ireland. All disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms, including disputes arising out of or relating to their interpretation, invalidity, performance as well as disputes concerning the filling of gaps in the Terms on their adaptation to new circumstances shall be referred to the competent courts of the Republic of Ireland.

  2. The nullity of any of the clauses of these Terms and conditions does not lead to the nullity of another clause or of the Terms and conditions as a whole.
